2024年3月23-24日,留学中国预科教育联盟2023-2024学年IFP数理科目教学培训会在美丽的天津大学CCN国际预科中心顺利举行。来自5大CCN国际预科中心的数学、物理科目教师、数学专业汉语、物理专业汉语教师、教学管理人员共计20余人参加了此次专题培训会。

2023-2024 Academic Year CCN IFP Mathematics and Physics Subject Teaching Training Seminar was successfully held at the beautiful campus of Tianjin University on March 23-24, 2024. More than 20 teachers from the five CCN IFP centres, including mathematics and physics subject teachers, Chinese for Mathematics and Physics teachers, and IFP centre teaching management personnel, attended this teaching training seminar.

此次培训会是2023-2024学年CCN国际预科全面恢复线下教学后的第一场线下学术培训与教研活动。由CCN学术管理中心主办,由天津大学CCN国际预科中心承办。天津大学国际教育学院李锵院长应邀出席了本次培训会并致欢迎词。天津大学数学学院任卫云教授、理学院肖立峰教授、国际教育学院邓云老师,作为预科数学、物理教学培训专家应邀参加了本次培训会。培训会由CCN学术管理中心学术管理总监曹书阳老师主持。

This training seminar marked the first offline academic training and research activity following the full resumption of offline teaching and learning for CCN IFP in the academic year 2023-2024. Hosted by the CCN Academic Management Center and CCN IFP Centre at Tianjin University, the seminar was honored by the presence of Professor Li Qiang, Dean of International Education College of Tianjin University, who delivered the welcoming speech. Associate Professor Ren Weiyun from School of Mathematics, Associate Professor Xiao Lifeng from School of Science, and Teacher Deng Yun from International Education College of Tianjin University, as experts in IFP mathematics and physics teaching, were invited to participate in the training seminar. The seminar was chaired by Ms. Cao Shuyang, Director of Academic Management of CCN.

李锵院长在欢迎致辞中,对所有来自各预科中心院校的教师代表们表示热烈欢迎。他向与会代表介绍了天津大学作为来华留学教育历史最悠久的高校、教育部选定的中国政府奖学金本科来华留学生预科教育首批试点院校之一,2005年以来在来华留学教育特别是来华留学预科教育方面开展的丰富实践、长期探索以及取得的建设成就。他指出:在国家逐步推行“来华留学本科生统一入学考试”新政落地的背景下,一方面是对预科教育价值更充分的认可,另一方面也对预科教育的质量提升提出了更高的要求,CCN国际预科项目也面临着优化产品、提升质量标准的课题。他表示:作为留学中国预科教育联盟创始成员高校、CCN国际预科中心院校之一,天津大学非常高兴承办CCN国际预科项目教学教研培训活动,携手探索预科教育,协作提升来华留学预科教育质量。他期待:CCN国际预科项目未来也能培养出知华、友华、亲华的杰出校友。

In his welcome speech, Dean Li Qiang, extended a warm welcome to all teacher representatives from various IFP centers. He introduced Tianjin University as one of the oldest universities in China for international education, one of the first batch of pilot universities for the Chinese Government Scholarship undergraduate foundation education, and its rich practical experience and achievements in international foundation education since 2005. He pointed out the increasing recognition of the value of foundation education and the higher requirements for its quality improvement, especially in the context of the gradual implementation of the “Unified Entrance Examination for International Undergraduate Students in China” policy by the country. The CCN IFP faces challenges in optimizing products and improving quality standards. As a founding member of China Campus Network and one of the CCN IFP centers, Tianjin University is pleased to host the CCN IFP academic activities, hoping to explore foundation education and collaborate to improve the quality of foundation education for international students in China. He expressed his hope that CCN IFP would also cultivate outstanding alumni who are knowledgeable about China, friendly to China, and close to China in the future.

此次IFP数理科目教学培训会,作为IFP数理科目教师的入职培训,旨在帮助各预科中心IFP数学和物理教师做好科目教学启动前的全方位准备。培训内容分为项目介绍、专家示范与实战模拟三大模块。

The IFP Mathematics and Physics Teaching Training Seminar, as an entry training for IFP mathematics and physics teachers, aimed to help teachers from IFP centers make comprehensive preparations before the start of subject teaching. The training content was divided into three modules: Programme introduction, Expert demonstrations, and Practical simulations.

项目介绍模块 | Programme Introduction Module

CCN学术管理中心团队曹书阳与高原两位老师向与会的各位专家与预科中心的教学团队做“CCN国际预科建设工作进度报告”,分三个层次逐步推进地向与会专家与老师们介绍了:1. 留学中国预科教育联盟“规模、质量、发展”三大核心战略;2. 作为“质量”战略核心的“CCN国际预科教育体系”的质量架构“CCN国际预科质量保障体系”与实践策略“五个统一”(统一预科录取、统一培养方案、统一教学实施、统一考试评估、统一大学录取推荐);3. 2023-2024学年CCN国际预科项目IFP数学与物理科目教学的教学对象、教学产品资源与考试评估安排。旨在为IFP数理科目教师团队建立起对项目背景、教学对象、产品资源、教学要求等全面、立体、明确、真切的认知。

Ms. Cao Shuyang and Ms. Gao Yuan from CCN Academic Management Center presented a “CCN International Foundation Programme Construction Progress Report,” gradually introducing CCN core strategies “Scale, Quality, and Development.” They also elaborated on the “CCN IFP Education System,” the quality framework “CCN IFP Quality Assurance System,” and the practical strategy “Five Unifications” (Unified IFP Admission, Unified Academic Framework and Curriculum, Unified Teaching and Learning Implementation, Unified Examination Assessment, Unified University Placement). The module aimed to provide a comprehensive, three-dimensional, clear, and vivid understanding of the programme background, teaching objectives, academic resources, and teaching & learning requirements for IFP mathematics and physics subject teachers.

专家示范模块 | Expert Demonstration Module

预科数学教学专家天津大学数学学院任卫云副教授、预科物理教学专家理学院肖立峰副教授,通过“专家讲堂”的形式引领在场的预科数理教师们理解预科数学、物理科目的教学目标、剖析教学内容中的重难点、分享留学生预科数学、物理教学中的实践挑战与可能存在的实践误区,并归纳总结出应对挑战的实践策略与避“坑”指南,为参加培训的预科教师们建立起对于预科数学、物理科目教学原则与方法的理性认知分析框架。紧接着,两位专家分别通过一堂完整真实的“教学示范”课,向参加培训的预科教师们展示了标准的IFP数学、物理课堂教学流程闭环,以及在真实的数理课堂师生教学互动中可能遇到的挑战以及正确应对的态度与方法;以真实的示范教学场景给参加培训的预科教师们带来的感性冲击作为契机,两位专家趁热打铁,通过对自己示范课的教学设计的剖析与教学互动处理方案的解析,帮助参与培训的预科教师们更加深入地理解如何在真实IFP数学、物理课堂中运用专家分享的教学原则与方法。

Associate Professor Ren Weiyun from School of Mathematics and Associate Professor Xiao Lifeng from School of Science of Tianjin University, as experts in IFP mathematics and physics teaching, led a “Expert Lecture” session to help IFP mathematics and physics teachers understand the teaching objectives and key points of IFP mathematics and physics subjects, share practical challenges and possible misconceptions in teaching IFP mathematics and physics, and summarize practical strategies and avoidance guidelines. Following this, the experts conducted a complete and authentic “teaching demonstration” lesson, showcasing standard IFP mathematics and physics classroom teaching processes and addressing challenges that may arise in real teacher-student interactions. Taking advantage of the realistic teaching scenarios, the experts analyzed their own demonstration lessons’ teaching designs and teaching interaction handling strategies, helping participating IFP teachers gain a deeper understanding of how to apply expert-shared teaching principles and methods in real IFP mathematics and physics classrooms.

在对CCN国际预科教育体系、IFP数理科目教学对象、教学产品与考试评估有了全面了解的基础上,在对IFP数学、物理科目教学原则与方法有了感性认知与理性思考的基础上,来自5大CCN国际预科中心的20余名数学、物理科目教师、数学专业汉语、物理专业汉语教师、教学管理人员被分成三个教学研讨与实践组,在预科教学专家的带领与指导下,从专家给定的数学教学知识点和物理教学知识点中选择一个基本教学实践单元,进行集中研讨、解析大纲与教材、分析教学对象、设计教学过程与方法,并进行模拟教学。

Based on a comprehensive understanding of CCN IFP education system, IFP mathematics and physics teaching objectives, and a perceptual understanding of IFP mathematics and physics subject teaching principles and methods, more than 20 teachers from the five CCN IFP centers, including mathematics and physics subject teachers, Chinese for mathematics and physics teachers, and teaching management personnel, were divided into three teams. Under the guidance of the teaching experts, they selected a mathematics and physics knowledge point provided by the experts, conducted focused discussions, analyzed syllabus and textbooks, discussed teaching objectives, designed teaching processes and methods, and conducted simulated teaching.

参与此次培训的预科中心老师中既有具备CCN预科数学、物理科目丰富教学经验的“老”教师,也有部分初次接触预科数学和物理科目教学的“新”教师。老师们本着探索与钻研的态度,在任卫云、肖立峰、邓云等三位预科教学专家的指导下,访谈教学对象、剖析大纲与教材、研讨教学目标、设计教学过程,边讨论边推进对教学设计的修订与优化。从下午16:00开始,启动模拟教学研讨,集体协作,专心准备,挑灯夜战,坚持在当晚完成了教学设计和教学模拟的准备与演练。

The participating IFP teachers included both “experienced” teachers with rich teaching experience in CCN IFP mathematics and physics subjects and “new” teachers who were new to IFP mathematics and physics subject teaching. With an exploratory and research-oriented attitude, under the guidance of experts Associate Professor Ren Weiyun, Associate Professor  Mr. Xiao Lifeng, and Senior Teacher Deng Yun, the teachers interviewed students, analyzed syllabus and textbooks, discussed teaching objectives, and designed teaching processes, continuously revising and optimizing teaching designs during the cooperative discussion on teaching design and simulation teaching process. Starting from 16:00 in the afternoon, the simulated teaching discussion was initiated. Teachers collaborated, focused on preparation, worked late into the night, and successfully completed the preparation of teaching design and the rehearsal of simulation teaching on the same evening.

3月24日上午是精彩的模拟课堂教学实战环节,各小组分别集体亮相,介绍小组内部分工,并派两名代表通过教学设计分享和教学模拟实战两种方式向与会专家和老师们进行了集中展示,并以小组形式接受三位预科教学专家的提问与点评。

The morning of March 24th was an exciting practical simulation module where each team made collective appearances, introduced internal division of labor, and sent two representatives to present teaching designs and conduct simulated teaching to experts and teachers attending the seminar. They then received questions and comments from the three IFP teaching experts in group format.

数学A组的教学设计分享和模拟课堂教学分别由江苏大学的程悦玲老师老师与西北工业大学的程壬颖老师合作搭档完成,江苏大学的房厚庆老师、西安交通大学的赵安平老师代表小组回答了三位预科教学专家的提问。

Mathematics Group A’s teaching design and simulated teaching were completed by Ms. Cheng Yueling from Jiangsu University and Ms. Cheng Renying from Northwestern Polytechnical University. Representatives from Jiangsu University and Xi’an Jiaotong University answered questions from the three IFP teaching experts.

数学B组的教学设计分享和模拟课堂教学分别由西北工业大学的陈钰铭老师与江苏大学的杨洁老师合作搭档完成,江苏大学的丁娟老师、西北工业大学的石薇老师和西安石油大学的侯静玉老师代表小组回答了三位预科教学专家的提问。

Mathematics Group B’s teaching design and simulated teaching were completed by Mr. Chen Yuming from Northwestern Polytechnical University and Ms. Yang Jie from Jiangsu University. Representatives from Jiangsu University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Xi’an Shiyou University answered questions from the three IFP teaching experts.

物理组的的教学设计分享和模拟课堂教学分别由江苏大学的俞笑竹老师与西北工业大学的纪鲁瑶老师合作搭档完成,西安交通大学的裴艳荣老师和天津大学的赵悦老师代表小组回答了三位预科教学专家的提问。

Physics Group’s teaching design and simulated teaching were completed by Ms. Yu Xiaozhu from Jiangsu University and Ms. Ji Luyao from Northwestern Polytechnical University. Representatives from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Tianjin University answered questions from the three IFP teaching experts.

三组教师们的模拟课堂教学均得到了参与学习的CCN IFP本科商科、工科方向的俄罗斯同学们的一致好评,学生们表示自己能够听懂老师们用中文教授的、逐步推进、清晰展开的数学和物理课程,也非常喜欢授课老师们富有亲和力的教授风格。

The simulated classroom teaching sessions of the three groups of teachers received unanimous praise from Russian students of IFP Business and Engineering streams, who participated in the learning. The students expressed their ability to understand the gradually unfolding and clear Chinese-taught mathematics and physics classes, and they also greatly appreciated the friendly teaching style of the instructors.

与会专家对各组老师的教学设计分享和模拟课堂教学进行了点评,专家们指出老师们的科目教学基本功扎实,能够全面地分析教学对象,充分地分解教学目标、完整地设计教学过程;集体备课方式有效,专业科目教师与专业汉语教师互动教研的模式有助于促进双向互动、深入思考与教学产出,帮助专业科目教师更好地觉知并优化教学语言、预见教学互动中的挑战并设计合适的应对解决策略。但是面向来华留学生的预科数学、物理科目教学中,如何分析诊断学生科目学习挑战的原因是数理知识的差距还是语言水平的局限,并理性处理教学中数理知识讲解与延展,灵活应对教学互动中的学生反馈,进而高效达成预科数学、物理科目的教学目标,是值得所有预科数理科目教师们在教学实践中持续关注与不断思考的关键点。

During the seminar, experts provided feedback on the teaching designs and simulated classroom teaching of each group of teachers. The experts noted that the teachers demonstrated a solid foundation in subject teaching, comprehensively analyzed students, fully decomposed teaching processes, and effectively collaborated during group lesson planning sessions. The interactive mode between subject teachers and Chinese language teachers facilitated bidirectional interaction, deepened reflection, and enhanced teaching outcomes. It helped subject teachers better understand and optimize teaching language, anticipate challenges in teaching interaction, and design appropriate strategies for addressing them. However, in IFP mathematics and physics teaching aimed at international students in China, it remains crucial for teachers to continuously focus on and reflect on how to analyze and diagnose the reasons for students’ learning challenges, whether they stem from gaps in mathematics and physics knowledge or limitations in language proficiency. They must also flexibly handle the explanation and extension of mathematics and physics knowledge during teaching and respond adeptly to student feedback to efficiently achieve teaching objectives in IFP mathematics and physics.

参与此次培训的预科中心老师们对本次培训也进行了反馈与总结,普遍表达了认可与肯定,认为此次培训的内容充实、形式新颖、效果显著,受益匪浅;有效帮助老师们明确了IFP数学、物理课程性质与定位,加深了对IFP数学、物理科目教学目标的理解与认识;专家讲堂与教学示范、集体备课与教学模拟、现场教学反馈与专家点评建议等培训安排与组织形式使老师们能够全身心投入,理性与感性结合,在合作教学设计与教学模拟的过程中,深化对IFP数学、物理大纲与教材的理解、学习与实践面向来华留学生的预科数理科目教学的原则与方法。

Participating teachers from the IFP centers provided feedbacks and reflections on the training. They universally expressed approval and appreciation, considering the content of the training to be enriching, the format innovative, and the outcomes significant. The training effectively helped teachers clarify the nature and positioning of IFP mathematics and physics courses, deepened their understanding of teaching objectives for IFP mathematics and physics subjects, and the organization of the training, including expert lectures and demonstrations, collaborative lesson planning, teaching simulations, and on-site feedback and expert advice, enabled teachers to fully engage, integrate rational and emotional aspects, deepen their understanding of IFP mathematics and physics syllabus and textbooks, and learn and practice the principles and methods of teaching IFP mathematics and physics for international students in China.

最后,CCN学术管理中心学术管理总监曹书阳老师对此次培训进行了总结。曹老师在会议总结中向天津大学国际教育学院领导与老师们给予本次教学培训活动的大力支持与帮助,向三位预科数学、物理科目教学专家为本次教学培训会准备的精彩示范与开展的悉心指导、向参与培训的预科教师们在本次教学培训会中的全心投入、倾听与思考专家分享要点、集体协作出色完成模拟教学实战,以及对于教学培训的反馈与建议再次表达了感谢;并向与会代表宣布了CCN学术管理中心与各CCN国际预科中心基于本次IFP数学、物理科目教学培训的后续跟进与支持计划。她同时表示,CCN学术管理中心将继续立足CCN国际预科项目教学资源研发的同时,推进CCN国际预科教师教学培训与教研活动的常规化、系统化与产品化,推动CCN国际预科教学效果的持续优化与教学质量的不断提升。

Lastly, Ms. Cao Shuyang, Director of Academic Management of CCN, summarized the training session. In her concluding remarks, she expressed gratitude to the leadership and faculty of International Education College of Tianjin University for their strong support and assistance in organizing the training seminar. She also thanked the three experts in IFP mathematics and physics teaching for their excellent demonstrations and careful guidance, the participating teachers for their wholehearted dedication during the training session, their attentiveness to expert insights, and their excellent collaboration in completing simulated teaching activities. Additionally, Ms. Cao announced the CCN Academic Management Center(AMC)’s plans for follow-up and support initiatives based on the IFP mathematics and physics training seminar. She reiterated the AMC’s commitment to continuous optimization of teaching effectiveness and improvement of teaching quality within the CCN IFP by leveraging teaching resource development, standardization, and productization of teacher training and research activities.
