The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation Between China Campus Network and InvesCore Financial Institution of Mongolia for the Order-Based Talent Development Programme was Successfully Held This Week

On March 9, 2024, the signing ceremony of “Government-led Initiative University-Enterprise Cooperation” Order-based Talent Development Programme was solemnly held in an online meeting. The Belt and Road Talent Development University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA), China Campus Network (CCN) and Jiangsu University as the representative of CCN member universities, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOU) with InvesCore Financial Institution of Mongolia(InvesCore), respectively.

China-Monoglia cooperation for the Order-based Talent Development Programme, under the theme of “Government-led Initiative University-Enterprise Cooperation” aims to integrate government, university, and enterprise resources effectively and to jointly select, fund, and train the international talents required for government and enterprise development in the digital economy era. This cooperation facilitates comprehensive and in-depth exchanges and collaborations between China and Mongolia in trade, technology, and culture.

In 2022, CCN and the Mongolian Ministry of Education and Science (MEDS) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for “Government-led Initiative University-Enterprise Cooperation” order-based Talent Development Program, initiating the exploration into Government Order-based Talent Development Program cooperation between China and Mongolia. The collaboration between CCN and InvesCore Financial Institution represents further expansion and implementation of Order-based Talent Development Programme cooperation between China and Mongolia. CCN and InvesCore will jointly select 100 outstanding Mongolian students, jointly sponsor them to study in China, and jointly train them to become high-quality, internationalized talents in the fields of finance, management, science and technology, energy, and agricultural modernization, etc., which can promote the development of enterprises and the progress of Mongolian society.

Guests attending the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation included Mr. Liu Baoli, Executive Secretary of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week Organizing Committee and Chairman of the Belt and Road Talent Development University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA), Mr. Yu Shucheng, President of CCN, Ms. Wo Guocheng, Secretary-General of CCN, Ms. Yang Jingsi, Vice Secretary-General of CCN, Professor Wu Peng, Dean of Overseas Education College of Jiangsu University, Mr. Bayasgalan.D, CEO of InvesCore, Mr. Arslanbaatar.N, Vice Chief Executive Officer of InvesCore, Ms. Battsetseg.Z, Chief Human Resources Officer, Ms. Uyanga, CEO of CCN Mongolia and Ms. Undraa, COO of CCN Mongolia. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Yang Jingsi, Vice Secretary-General of CCN.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Liu Baoli, in his address, highlighted the crucial role of educational exchange and cooperation in promoting social innovation and facilitating international trade. He welcomed InvesCore, a leading enterprise in Mongolia’s financial technology sector, to join the Belt and Road Talent Development University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA) and initiate cooperation in order-based talent development programme. He emphasized that the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation signifies a significant step in talent cultivation between the two parties, believing that the cooperation will inject new vitality and impetus into the talent development in InvesCore and various sectors of Mongolia, including finance, management, technology, agriculture and energy.

Mr. Yu Shucheng, Chairman of CCN, expressed gratitude and introduced CCN’s exploration and achievements in creating International Foundation Programme for studying in China and innovating models of cooperation between universities, governments, and enterprises. He emphasized the strategic partnership between China and Mongolia and the deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries have provided a new vision and new opportunities for China and Mongolia to strengthen educational exchanges and cooperation and to expand the new models of cooperation in talent cultivation, hoping that the cooperation between CCN and InvesCore will foster the exchange of talents and contribute to the economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Ms. Wo Guocheng,Secretary-General of CCN, provided detailed insights into the origin, exploration, and development of the “Government-led Initiative University-Enterprise Cooperation”  order-based talent development cooperation. She highlighted CCN’s gradual exploration and practice of the innovative model of order-based talent development cooperation and its implementation plan of “Joint Selection, Joint Funding, Joint Training” in the cooperation with InvesCore. She anticipated fruitful cooperation between the two sides, aiming to cultivate high-quality international talents for InvesCore and Mongolian society, particularly in finance management, agricultural.

Mr. Bayasgalan.D, CEO of InvesCore, presented the background of the programme cooperation and talent demands on behalf of the enterprise. He pointed out that China and Mongolia have a long history of friendship, and in recent years, under the strategic guidance of the governments of China and Mongolia, the cooperation between China and Mongolia in the fields of economy and trade, science and technology, education, culture and other areas has become increasingly close, and more and more Mongolian students want to study in China. InvesCore, as the eighth largest financial institution in Mongolia, not only has a continuous demand for cultivating and reserving the financial and technological talents needed for the development of the enterprise, but also has been committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by supporting youth education and environmental protection.He expressed enthusiasm for the cooperation, joining the UEA, cooperating with CCN and aiming to provide Mongolian youth with opportunities for high-quality education in China, making them competitive talents capable of contributing to InvesCore’s development and Mongolia’s future.

Professor Wu Peng, Dean of Overseas Education College,Jiangsu University spoke on behalf of CCN member universities involved in the programme cooperation. He introduced Jiangsu University’s educational characteristics, academic strengths, and achievements in international cooperation and education for studying in China. He emphasized the university’s active participation in various CCN cooperations, aiming to promote internationalization and enhance the quality of education. He expressed readiness to participate in the cooperation with InvesCore for the order-based talent development programme to jointly create finance, cross-border e-commerce, agricultural machinery and automation and other customized talent development programme, in accordance with the “joint selection, joint funding, joint training” model,and contribute to the cultivation of talents for InvesCore’s development and Mongolia’s economic development and industrial upgrading.

CCN and InvesCore will take the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation as a starting point and work together to further promote the smooth landing of the “Government led Initiative, University -Enterprise Cooperation” for the Order-based Talent Development Programme. According to the Order-Based Talent Needs issued by InvesCore, CCN will invite member universities willing to cooperate and match their degree programmes to participate in the programme cooperation.

It is believed that under the framework of “Government led Initiative, University -Enterprise Cooperation”, in accordance with the cooperation model of “joint selection, joint funding and joint training” and through the joint efforts of CCN and InvesCore, we will cultivate more international talents who are familiar with China and Mongolia business environment, have high professional qualities, cross-cultural communication skills, strategic thinking and execution capabilities, adapt to the requirements of the digital economy era. And this educational cooperation will also provide new impetus and open new visions for the prosperous development of China-Mongolia economic and trade.
